The following terms and conditions for a Guided Motorcycle Tour shall form an integral part of the rental contract/agreement entered into between a Guided Motorcycle Tour Participant Customer (hereafter referred as Participant Customer) and Legendary Rides/F.E.R (hereafter referred as L.R.), which the Participant Customer conclude with L.R. directly or via an agent.
The Participant Customer is kindly requested to read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which form part of the Tour Agreement.
L.R. reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
1. Requirements for a motorcycle rental in a guided tour
1.1. Participant Customer must be at least 30 years of age to rent an Indian motorcycle.
1.2. Participant Customer must have a full riding/driving license for at least 5 years
– European Class A, Unrestricted displacement and power.
– Non-EU citizens: International Riding Permit, similar to European Class A.
1.3. At the time of the motorcycle pickup, the Participant Customer must present to L.R. the following valid documents:
– Passport for non-EU citizens.
– Driving license as mentioned in paragraph1.2,
– Valid credit card Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
1.4. Participant Customer failing to present valid documents will lose the right of participation in the Guided Motorcycle Tour and will not be refunded.
1.5. One additional driver is permitted at no extra charge. Requirements to additional driver are the same as for main driver.
1.6. Passenger allowed as long as they are physically fit to ride in the back seat (feet must reach the backseat foot pegs flat footed). If a passenger is under 18 years old, parent or guardian will have to sign consent.
2. Included Services in the Guided Motorcycle Tour

Hotel accommodations are in double or twin rooms. If Participant Customer is travelling alone but wishes to share a twin room, L.R. will try to find a roommate that wishes also to share. If L.R. cannot find such a roommate, the single supplement for a single room will apply. A limited number of single rooms are available per Tour.

Only the items specifically listed above are included in the price. Anything not explicitly mentioned above is not included.
No refund will be made for any unused services included in the Tour price.
3. Booking
3.1. Participant Customer by booking a Guided Motorcycle Tour (filling up online booking form or by email), agrees and accepts the Terms and Conditions as a binding contract with L.R.
3.2. L.R. will respond to Participant Customer request with:
– Availability,
– Services to be provided,
– Amount to be paid (deposit, balance due) and payment due time.
3.3. Upon receiving L.R. availability confirmation, Participant Customer is required to make the deposit payment to secure the reservation. L.R. reserves the right to cancel the reservation if payments are not received in due time.
3.4. Once L.R. bank confirms the deposit payment; L.R. will send a written confirmation to Participant Customer by email including Guided Tour Motorcycle Rental Agreement. Participant Customer cannot consider that he has reserved participation in a Guided Motorcycle Tour until he receives such a written confirmation.
3.5. L.R. will provide motorcycle rental with the signed Guided Tour Motorcycle Rental Agreement. The Guided Tour Motorcycle Rental Agreement contains a liability release waiver, which will be signed with the delivery of the motorcycles.
4. Reservation Deposit and Payments
4.1. Payment methods
Payment can be made by two methods:
– Bank transfers for deposits and advance payments.
– Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
4.2. Deposit and final payment
A 30% deposit is required at the time of bookings if booking is dine two months in advance, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the departure date/pick-up date. Otherwise, a full payment is required at the time of booking. All deposits and advance payments have to me made via bank/wire transfer.
5. Damage deposit
5.1. At the time of the bike pick up a credit card authorization will be taken in the event that a theft incur, damages to the motorcycle, or traffic violations while on tour. Only in case of total theft, partial theft, damages and traffic violation tickets the deposit will be charged to the card.
5.2. A security damage deposit of EUR2, 000 is required at the time before the motorcycle delivery by L.R. The Participant Customer must ensure that the required amount will be available in their credit for the duration of the rental period. Credit card should belong to main driver or to the additional driver if there is one.
5.3. Only Visa, MasterCard and Amex credit cards can be used for the authorization. Debit cards and Prepaid cards are not accepted for authorization.
5.4. The authorization will be fully released upon the successful inspection of the undamaged motorcycle when it is returned.
5.5. The completion of the release of authorization is a procedure carried out by the bank of the customer and the duration of this procedure is in no way controlled by L.R.
5.6. In the event that Participant Customer fails to present a valid credit card or if there is lack of sufficient funds available on the credit cards, L.R. reserve the right to refuse to release the motorcycle. In these instances, no prepaid funds will be reimbursed.
6. Insurance
6.1. Included in the price of the Guided Motorcycle Tour:
– Third party liability
Up to EUR1,220,000 for bodily injuries
Up to EUR1,220,000 for material damages
Up to EUR15,000 for personal injuries while riding
– Full accident coverage from third party uninsured.
– Total or partial theft and fire of motorcycle with EUR2,000 deductible
– For own damages up to EUR2,000 deductible.
A security deposit/bond of EUR2,000 is required as mentioned in clause 5.2.
6.2. L.R. offers COVER insurance at a fixed rate of EUR150 for all the tour. This includes all above in paragraph 6.1. but only a EUR1,000 security deposit is required. The COVER insurance covers theft, partial theft and fire with a EUR1,000 deductible and only up to EUR1,000 deductible for own damages.
COVER insurance is non-refundable.
In case of theft all keys and fobs must be returned for insurance to apply.
6.3. L.R. offers COVER+ insurance at a fixed rate of EUR300 for all the tour. This includes all above in paragraph 4.1. but no security deposit is required. The COVER+ insurance covers theft, partial theft and fire, own damages are fully covered.
COVER+ insurance is non-refundable.
In case of theft all keys and fobs must be returned, otherwise no COVER or other INSURANCE is applicable.
6.4. Free 24h Road Assistance is offered for every Guided Motorcycle Tour Participant Customer.
6.5. L.R. does not offer any kind of travel insurance. L.R. recommends that Participant Customers take out adequate travel insurance including medical treatment, accidents and repatriation, holiday cancellation and curtailment.
6.6. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance cover, L.R. will not be liable for any losses howsoever arising, in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.
7. Cancellations by Participant Customer
7.1. Customer shall inform L.R. about cancellation in writing by email.
7.2. In case of cancellation more than 60 days prior to Tour, L.R. retains the 50% of the reservation deposit, plus EUR15 per refunding transaction as cancellation fees.
7.3. In case of cancellation within 60 days prior to Tour, L.R. retains the 100% of full payments received.
7.4. L.R. is not liable to make refunds once Tour commences regardless of the reason for Customer being unable to complete the Tour.
7.5. L.R. cannot be made liable for unpleasant or unsuitable weather conditions and no refunds are made for such conditions.
7.6. Request by the Participant Customer to change the Tour already booked (depending availability) is considered and handled as a cancellation and the cancellation fees of paragraphs 7.2, 7.3. apply. The Participant Customer must re-initiate the reservation procedure. If booking dates change request is done 30 days prior to the initial confirmed booking dates, a 30% of the deposit received will be withheld.
7.7 No refund shall be provided by L.R. if motorcycle is returned earlier than agreed date/time irrespective of the circumstances.
7.8. No refund will be provided by L.R. if the Participant Customer does not show at the agreed rental period start and agreed place. Upon notification of late arrival for pickup, L.R. will confirm availability for the remaining rental period and new pick up date/time and place, however no refunds will be provided for the unused time.
7.9. L.R. recommends the Participant Customer to take out a travel and cancellation insurance.
8. Cancellation by Legendary Rides
8.1. L.R. reserves the right to cancel any reservation due to unforeseen and unpredictable conditions, or minimum participation requirement is not reached. Should that occur, the Participant Customer’s options are:
– Choose an alternative Tour upon availability
– A full refund
8.2. L.R. will not be liable for additional costs or losses incurred by Participant Customer due to the cancellation of the Tour. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of prepaid airlines tickets, hotel reservations.
8.3. L.R. reserves the right to terminate the Tour for Participant Customer, without giving notice and without any obligation of reimbursement if it realizes that the Participant Customer is not respecting and complying with the terms and conditions stated in the signed Tour Agreement, or if there is knowledge of a good cause rendering the continuation of the Tour Agreement impossible. Good causes shall in particular be improper use of the motorcycle, false statements made by the Participant Customer concerning his person, his creditworthiness as well as the serious violation of the rental agreement and the this contractual obligations. In case of a termination without notice, the rental motorcycle shall be returned immediately, even before the expiry of the Tour. Apart from that, claims for damages of the LR shall not be affected.
8.4. L.R. recommends the Participant Customer to take out a travel and cancellation insurance.
9. Obligations and liability of Legendary Rides
9.1. L.R. is responsible for providing the services as presented in the Tour descriptions according to the local standards.
9.2. L.R. provides the motorcycle in a perfect, clean state confirming to operating and road safety as well as with undamaged seals usually fixed on the motorcycle. The Participant Customer agrees by signing with the condition of the motorcycle during pick up, as it stated in the attached inspect report form and recognize its accuracy upon the motorcycle is delivered L.R. only recognizes previous damages insofar as they were recorded in writing and signed for, in the Tour Rental Agreement or, respectively, in the inspection report when delivering the motorcycle. Besides, the Participant Customer shall receive the registration papers of the motorcycle, a motorcycle tool kit and a first aid kit as well as mounted accessories/equipment specified in the Rental Agreement.
9.3. Claims for damages of the Participant Customer or third parties shall be excluded insofar as the L.R. did not act with intent or gross negligence.
9.4. L.R. shall neither be liable to the Participant Customer not to other passengers for the loss or damage of personal objects left behind in the motorcycle during the rental period or after it. The Participant Customer alone shall be responsible for personal objects. Participant Customers, their baggage and property travel entirely at their own risk.
9.5. L.R. aims at offering pleasant and relaxed riding days. The itineraries and other details are published in good faith. The running times estimates derive from L.R. staff experience, and L.R. shall not be liable for any loss arising from the delay to operate services in accordance to published schedule.
9.6. L.R. organizes tour dates at a time when the weather conditions are pleasant for motorcycling. L.R. is not liable for unpleasant weather conditions and no refunds will be made for such conditions.
9.7. L.R. reserves the right to change the tour schedule. This may be due to several reasons, not limited to but including, adverse weather conditions, riots, war, and/ or matters concerning participants’ safety, operational circumstance such s as bike theft or damage caused by fire. In these circumstances the itinerary such as the tour routing, site visits and hotels may need to be adjusted accordingly.
9.8. L.R. is not liable for any additional costs or losses that may incur to the Participant Customer due to the Tour change of schedule. This includes but is not limited to any extra hotel reservations or the cost of non-refundable airline tickets. Situations may arise which to our judgment for the safety of the group make it necessary for L.R. to alter the normal schedule of the Tour or make substitutions regarding hotels and other travel arrangements.
L.R. advises that your travel insurance covers holiday curtailment.
9.9. If any additional expenses are incurred to the Participant Customer through delays, accidents, or disruption in planned itineraries because of Force Majeure, or are considered advisable by L.R., then these expenses are covered by the Participant Customer.
9.10. Any minor changes to the scheduled routes shall not be considered a change since these changes do not alter the overall character of the Tour.
9.11. In case of the motorcycle of the Participant Customer has a mechanical failure; L.R. will provide a replacement motorcycle.
9.12. L.R. does not take any responsibility for any flight delays or any schedule changes, which as a result may cause the Participant Customer to arrive, delayed to the Tour start or not show up at all. In such circumstances there will be no refund.
10. Obligations of Participant Customer
10.1. The Participant Customer is the person responsible for the motorcycle and should be the signatory of the Tour agreement, irrespectively who booked it and/or who pays the Tour fee.
10.2. The rental motorcycle shall only be driven by the Participant Customer or by the Additional Driver that is specified in the Tour Agreement. The rented motorcycle shall not be placed at the disposal of third parties.
10.3. The Participant Customer or the additional driver undertakes to only drive the rental motorcycle if at the time and place of the Tour he disposes of a valid driving license and complies with other legal conditions in force for the operation of the motorcycle at the time and place of the Tour. Furthermore, the Participant Customer shall be obliged not to drive a motorcycle if he is overtired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or any other legal or illegal substances which impair consciousness or/and ability to react. In that case the Participant Customer or the additional driver shall be liable for any loss or damage direct or indirect caused to the property of L.R. or to third parties.
10.4. The Participant Customer is strictly forbidden to pledge or sell the motorcycle or to otherwise dispose of the motorcycle or its parts, equipment, accessories and documents that could infringe L.R. property right or any other right entitled to, regarding the motorcycle.
10.5. The Participant Customer shall handle the motorcycle with due care, in particular comply with the technical regulations and operating instructions as well as guarantee road safety. The Participant Customer shall respect traffic laws and regulations. During the night (between 10:00 pm and 06:00 am), the motorcycle shall be in any case locked up with the steering lock and parked in a secure parking space.
10.6. The motorcycle shall only be used in the manner agreed upon in the Tour Rental Agreement and intended by the manufacturer. The Participant Customer shall not be allowed to participate in racing, motorsport events or to drive on non-public roads, gravel roads, sand and beach, but only in public highways and paved roads. The Participant Customer shall comply with statutory provisions, in particular with the road traffic laws. Participant Customer shall be liable for all warning charges, administrative fines and penalties including the costs incurred by L.R., which are caused during the period the motorcycle is used in his name. Insofar, as L.R. is obliged to bear such fine charges and related costs, the Participant Customer agrees that L.R. invoices a EUR25 administrative fee in addition to the amounts payable for taking care of these matters.
10.7. The Participant Customer agrees to only use the motorcycle if it is in perfect condition to drive. If any technical problems or damages occur, the Participant Customer shall inform the L.R. Tour Leader without delay. The Participant Customer shall expressly be not allowed to realize any repairs himself.
10.8. The Participant Customer is not allowed to carry out any technical or optical modifications concerning the rental motorcycle (e.g. stickers, adhesive films).
10.9. The rental motorcycle should not be used by the Participant Customer for commercial purposes.
10.10. The rental motorcycle can be only driven on the Tour itinerary under the guidance of the Tour Leader. The Participant Customer shall not deviate from the itinerary or ride independently from the group unless authorized and agreed by Tour Leader under special circumstances.
10.11. In the event the Participant Customer damages the motorcycle during the Tour and the motorcycle can no longer be ridden; the Participant Customer may have to finish the Tour in the support van. L.R. cannot guarantee that will be always able to fix the motorcycle during the Tour.
10.12. The Participant Customer must have in a possession during the Tour the following documents, which must be valid until the end of the Tour:
– Passport
– Driving license (No EU citizens International Driving license)
– If visa is required, it is Participant Customer responsibility to make all necessary arrangements to ensure compliance with visa requirements.
L.R. does accept no responsibility whatsoever in the event that these matters are not dealt with prior to Tour start.
Participant Customers, who are forced to curtail their participation due to incorrect/lack/loss of necessary documents, will not be refunded.
10.13. The Participant Customer must bring their riding equipment.
L.R. does provide helmets for Guided Motorcycle Tours but the Participant Customer is responsible for choosing his proper size of helmet. We kindly recommend that you bring your own personal helmet for comfort and hygiene reasons. However, Indian motorcycle helmets for purchase, at a special price, will be available. Law in Greece requires wearing helmets while riding a motorcycle.
11. Handling of accidents
11.1. L.R. Tour Leader shall be alerted without delay in case of an accident as well as in case of a theft or another loss in order to call Police.
11.2. The Police shall be informed without delay in case of an accident as well as in case of a theft or another loss. The Participant Customer shall secure means of evidence (witnesses, traces, etc.), gather the data of the persons involved as well as do everything that can contribute to the due and complete clarification of the accident/the circumstances of the accident.
L.R. Tour Leader will assist the Participant Customer with Greek Police.
11.3. All damages to rented motorcycle without a Police Report will be considered to be at the fault of the Participant Customer.
11.4. The Participant Customer undertakes not to give an acknowledgement of debt and not to take any other actions (payments, settlements), which could endanger the insurance cover.
11.5. L.R. is not responsible for any accidents. It is agreed and understood that neither L.R. nor its staff and associates are the guardians of any Participant Customer’s safety and that L.R., individually or collectively, cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the rental which might result in injury, death or other damage to the Participant Customer, his property or his family heirs or assigns.
12. Participant Customer liability for damages / accidents
The Participant Customer should be liable for all damages which are caused to the motorcycle, documents, parts, accessories, theft or partial theft, during the tour rental period, regardless his fault or responsibility for the accident. His liability will be limited up to the security damage deposit mentioned above as deductible.
The Customer shall be liable to pay damages and will not be covered by any optional cover or insurance:
12.1. In case of improper use of the motorcycle, or disproportionately high tire wear or respectively friction that can manifestly be ascertained due to improper use (eg. Burnouts).
12.2. In case the motorcycle is not used in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement or the Participant Customer infringes or violets the rental agreement.
12.3. For damages caused to the underside of the motorcycle, tires and rims, for damages caused from natural weather phenomena and terrorist attacks.
In these cases mentioned above the Customer shall be liable for the repair cost, cost of experts, technical and mercantile value depreciation, loss of rent during the repair time (basic fee per day for every day of loss of rent).In case of total loss or total theft, the Customer will be liable up to the amount of the motorcycle commercial value at the time of the accident. These amounts will be covered directly by his credit card and no insurance / cover will be applicable. Customer and additional driver will be jointly and severally liable for any damage mentioned above incidental or consequential, other compensation not excluded.
13. Motorcycle delivery and return
13.1. L.R. shall deliver the motorcycle at its own premises at the start of the Tour in a good general and operating state with all required documents, parts and accessories stated in the Tour Rental Agreement. The motorcycle will be delivered to the Participant Customer with a full tank. L.R. and the Participant Customer determine the state of the motorcycle by signing in the attached at the rental agreement inspect report form and recognize its accuracy upon the motorcycle is delivered13.2. The motorcycle shall personally be returned by the Participant Customer at L.R. premises at the end of the Tour, and in the same state the motorcycle was rented together with keys and fobs, the same documents and same accessories.
13.3. If the motorcycle cannot be thoroughly inspected (ref. clause 9.2.) at the time or place of its return, the L.R. reserve the right to further withhold the damage deposit until the inspection of the motorcycle is completed and deemed successful.
13.4 Only the signature of an L.R. representative on the inspect report determines the end of the contract obligations for L.R. Without this signature the Participant Customer remains fully responsible for the motorcycle. If keys, fobs and motorcycle documents are not returned with the motorcycle, then a new set of keys, fob or any accessories missing will be invoiced to the Participant Customer.
14. Road Assistance
The Participant Customer is provided with 24h road assistance.
15. Riding a Motorcycle and Acceptance of Risks
15.1. By proceeding with the Tour reservation, the Participant Customer is aware and accepts that motorcycle tour involves dangers and risks. Some of these risks may include physical exertion for which you may not be prepared, weather extremes, remoteness from normal medical services, evacuation difficulties if you are injured.
15.2. The Participant Customer acknowledges that the nature of this type of travelling requires considerable degree of flexibility. This flexibility refers to (and not limited to): taking alternative roads/routes, changing hotel accommodation as well as the group assisting each other through an unforeseen challenge that might delay or alter the tour schedule. The decision of the Tour Leader (Guide) is final and the Participant Customer agrees to comply with such decision.
15.3. The Participant Customer understands that the route schedules, itineraries, amenities may change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events, such as mechanical breakdown, road closures, fires, strikes, climate, sickness, or other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances.
15.4. The Participant Customer acknowledges the level of riding difficulty which is clearly marked in L.R. website allowing him to make a sound decision regarding his participation in the tour.
15.5. The Participant Customer may ensure that they seek professional medical advice before travelling and to take all necessary health precautions and preventive measures. The Participant Customer must inform L.R. of any medical, physical, mental or other condition, which may affect the services provided on the tour, including any condition that may arise en route.
16. Tour Leader
16.1. L.R. Tours are guided by the Tour Leader (Tour Guide). The decision of the Tour Leader is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or wellbeing of any Participant Customer including riding competency, any change of itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or even the removal of the Participant Customer from the Tour for the safety and benefit of the group.
16.2. If the Tour Leader realizes that the Participant Customer does not comply with traffic laws or is driving in a way that can harm the rider, passenger or any other tour participants, or bystanders, then the L.R. through the Tour Leader reserves the right to caution the Participant Customer and/or cancel the Contract and secure the rental motorcycle.
L.R. does not accept responsibility for the return home or to the start point, or any other costs that may incur due to such removal. No refund will be given under such circumstances.
17. Force Majeure
In the event of Force Majeure refunds or compensation payments cannot be made, nor can L.R. and any of their staff be held liable.
Force Majeure means any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, which the consequences of could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care. Such circumstances ore vents include, but are not limited to, war, or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, unavoidable technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions.
18. Complaints
If the Participant Customer believes that L.R. has not met its obligations in any ways during the rental period, he should bring it to the immediate attention of L.R. representative by phone, SMS, or email. This will enable L.R. to take corrective action immediately if possible. In case Participant Customer is not completely satisfied, any further complaints in detail should be put in writing within 14 days after rental period, and sent by email to L.R.
The Participant Customer’s complaint will be investigated and responded to in the first instance within 14 days by email. Failure to follow the procedure set out in this clause may affect L.R. and the applicable supplier’s ability to investigate Participant Customer’s complaint, and as a result will affect Participant Customer’s rights under this Rental Agreement.
19. Jurisdiction
The Rental Agreement and all matters arising from it are subject to Greek law and the jurisdiction of the Greek courts. In the event that any of the provisions of this contract will be determined by any court to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent then such provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining provisions of the insurance.
20. Personal Data
By concluding to the Rental Agreement, the Participant Customer consents that Legendary Rides electronically stores and processes his personal data in connection with this Rental Agreement for the purposes of the legitimate interests of Legendary Rides, including statistical evaluation, creditworthiness check and protection of the property of Legendary Rides. If the Participant Customer violates the Rental Agreement, his personal data can be disclosed and forwarded to third parties accordingly insofar as this is necessary to assert claims or to prevent property damages of Legendary Rides, or to country Authorities in case there is suspicion of committing a crime.
21. Terms & Conditions Status
L.R. reserves the right to change any terms and conditions at any given time if they see it necessary. Any of these changes will be announced through L.R. website.
Pricing adjustments might occur due to changes in costs. These changes in cost might regard and are not restricted to, taxes, fuel, tolls, entry fees, hotel and restaurant pricelists. Also changes may occur regarding the time and destination schedule.
These changes and alterations will be announced on L.R. website and will be included as an inextricable part of the binding agreement/contract.
22. The types and colors of motorcycles shown in the photos are indicative. In special cases L.R. reserves the right to replace any type of motorcycle with other of the same category.
